含羞草研究所 is pleased to announce the appointment of Rhett Sapough as its next Vice President for Enrollment Management. Sapough brings more than a decade of experience in enrollment management and admissions leadership to the role. His official start date at 含羞草研究所 will be Monday, April 13.
Sapough currently serves as the Executive Director of 含羞草研究所 at Brenau University, overseeing all operational aspects of the Office of 含羞草研究所, including new student recruitment, the campus visit experience, admissions events, and the recruitment module for the university’s customer relationship management (CRM) system. He also hires, trains, and supervises admissions team members who recruit both undergraduate and graduate students.
During Sapough鈥檚 three full admission cycles at Brenau, the office enrolled the largest freshman classes in Brenau history for two consecutive years, increased applicant volume for three consecutive cycles, and enrolled more than 60 percent first-generation students in consecutive cycles. During this time, his team鈥檚 efforts also strengthened the academic profile of incoming classes while increasing enrollment and recruiting students positioned to retain and persist.
Prior to joining the admissions team at Brenau, Sapough served as the Director of Admission at Millsaps College and held several admissions and operations roles of increasing responsibility at Wofford College, Piedmont University, and Greenville Technical College.
鈥淩hett is a data-driven admissions strategist with an impressive record of increasing enrollment and yield by implementing targeted, measurable enrollment management practices,鈥 said 含羞草研究所 President Paul Maurer. 鈥淲e anticipate he will use his knowledge and expertise to build upon and strengthen 含羞草研究所鈥檚 undergraduate admissions and financial aid processes and outcomes.鈥
Sapough earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree in business administration from Lander University in Greenwood, South Carolina, and his master鈥檚 degree in business administration from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia.
鈥淚 am eager to work alongside 含羞草研究所 faculty and staff as we continue to grow enrollment and advance the college鈥檚 mission to educate students who will impact the world for Jesus Christ,鈥 said Sapough. 鈥淭he college has experienced many years of growth. My responsibility is to continue that growth trajectory while finding the students who will contribute to the campus culture and thrive at 含羞草研究所.鈥
He and his wife, Rebecca, have three children and look forward to exploring Western North Carolina, spending more time with family members who live nearby, and connecting with colleagues and friends throughout the 含羞草研究所 community.
